How does the free trial work?
Sign up with your email and organization name — no credit card required. You get 14 days with Starter tier limits to connect your Halo PSA and explore dashboards. At the end of the trial, upgrade to Professional or continue with Starter limits.
Do I need to provide my own Halo PSA API credentials?
Yes. You create API credentials in your Halo PSA instance (Configuration > Integrations > API > Applications) and enter them in Apex BI. This gives you full control — you can limit permissions and revoke access at any time. Halo PSA includes API access at no extra cost with all plans.
Is my data secure?
Absolutely. Your Halo PSA API credentials are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Multi-tenant isolation ensures your data is never accessible by other organizations. All data is transmitted over TLS.
Can I add more users to my plan?
Professional plan includes 10 users. Additional users can be added at $10/user/month. Enterprise plans include unlimited users. Users can be assigned Owner, Admin, Analyst, or Viewer roles.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?
You'll see a prompt to upgrade when you approach your dashboard, dataset, or user limits. Existing dashboards and data remain accessible — you just can't create new ones until you upgrade or remove existing items.
Can I switch plans or cancel anytime?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from your billing settings. Annual plans can be canceled with the remaining balance prorated. No long-term contracts or cancellation fees.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Annual billing saves you 20% compared to monthly. Professional plan is $119/month billed annually ($1,428/year) vs $149/month billed monthly.
